Organized By art
November 6, 2025 - January 3, 2025
Reception: November 14, 2025, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
The Palouse is home to many amazing artists. Drawn by its beauty, open, and welcoming communities, the arts have flourished. This exhibit focuses specifically on how artists come together. They do so to find and create community. In doing so, finding support to encourage their vision. Moscow has invited the members of Artists of the Dahman Barn, Palouse Watercolor Socius, Palouse Women Artists, and the Woodworkers Collective to participate in the exhibit. More than 30 regional artists will be represented.
Studies have shown that the number of civic clubs and groups coming together has been on the decline. This is a period of time where this form of community is very important to sustaining the fabric of society. While there are many great artists that choose not to join in a group this exhibit highlights organizations that help to strengthen connectivity. The Palouse Watercolor Socius formed in the 1970s. other groups are not as old, but each has created opportunities for the Palouse. New arrivals, new found interests, and discovered talents can find support and mentors within these groups to nurture passion.
Scheduled during this holiday season, this exhibit is an opportunity to find unique holiday gifts coming directly from the hands of skilled artisans in our community. Each group will have additional items available during one of the weekends following Thanksgiving. More details to follow.
