SUPPORT
Moscow Contemporary is a Non-Profit gallery in the Heart of the Arts of Moscow, Idaho. Your support plays a critical role to insure the long-term viability of Moscow Contemporary. Donors have always made the difference between a gallery that did good things, and one that can reach for greatness.
When the UI agreed to terminate operations at the gallery, it was very generous in making gallery assets available to Moscow Contemporary. This reduced the necessary startup funds. There’s still the need to replace roughly $150,000 in annual operating funds contributed by the UI. The transition has also interrupted eligibility for certain grants, but we will ultimately see more grant funding than as part of the university. We will increase our earned income from multiple sources, as well as sponsorships. But the single most important piece in our funding puzzle are YOU, individual donors.
Your contribution keeps a vital community asset alive. It signifies your understanding that the arts, in all forms, are important to Moscow. For decades a gallery has been integral and should remain part of the central character of the town. You recognize the importance the gallery in advancing the careers of local artists, bringing in exceptional regional, national, and international artists, and enriching the educational life of the community.
You can donate online by clicking the DONATE button, or mail/hand deliver a check to the gallery. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by the IRS.
