MSAP 2026
Food Clay Camp & More
During this week-long hand-building clay camp, creativity will be on the menu! Campers will explore a variety of beginning hand-building techniques with delicious food inspired art as the focus. Tasty treats for the eye will be the main course with campers “cooking” up a variety of culinary delights including:
• Creating a realistic plate of clay food! Perhaps, Pancakes and Eggs? Maybe Ramen or a Veggie-Burger?
• Building a multi-layer slice of cake that doubles as a box with a lid that makes a secret storage spot!
• Crafting stackable coasters in the shape of food. I’m thinking of saltine crackers!
Additionally, campers will explore the basics of Silkscreen Printmaking using cut stencils to create a two layer multi-colored image that is related to one of their clay projects.
Anyway you slice it(get it) we are going to have fun!
