The Art of Light & Motion

Explore light, color, composition, and narrative through a variety of photographic and drawing-based activities. Led by artists and educators Brooke Rowen and Jonah Radeke, campers will learn about the history of moving images and collaborate to tell their own story through artmaking.

Class space is limited to 12 students. All classes will be held at Paradise Ridge which is ADA compliant.

Ages: 7-12 years old

We ask all students to wear clothes they can be outside in, with sun protection if needed, a lunch or snacks (nut free/allergy sensitive), and refillable water bottles. We will provide snacks, water refills, and have sunblock handy.


Cancellation Policy: All classes including Adult/Teen Workshops, ASAP, MSAP, and any other paid classes will not be refunded unless of an emergency situation. We regret that we cannot guarantee schedule change accommodations unless requested 30 days in advance.

Brooke Rowen is an independent artist from Boise, and current Fine Arts Undergraduate at the University of Idaho. He works to create art that is both beautiful and thought-provoking, challenging social norms, inspiring self-reflection, and teaching students how to do the same.

Jonah Radeke is a writer, photographer, and educator living in Moscow, Idaho.
