ASAP 1 Preteen/teen

Wednesdays

4:00 - 5:15 pm

Jan. 21 - Feb. 25

Students will join local artist Brooke Rowen in exploring the complexities of the human portrait, learning about the different elements of what can give a portrait depth, interest, and accuracy. Using a mix of charcoal and graphite, the class will focus on how to render the different features of the face one by one, how these features can vary from person to person, and how features can be rendered in unity with one another to create a convincing portrait.
