MSAP 2024

Bird Camp

Calling all young adventurers! Dive into a world of creativity, birdwatching, and conservation during our week-long Summer Hybrid Camp! Students will spend the week outdoors at PCEI under the leadership of Moscow Contemporary ASAP teacher Heather Woolery. We will take nature walks and learn how to keep a nature journal, dive into the science and study of birds, create a large-scale painting, paint birdhouses, and learn how to draw and document our discoveries.

Students will also get to work with guest instructor, Joshua Larsen, district manager of Whitman Conservation District, about ideal bird habitats and how we can help conserve and promote those habitats in our own backyards. This class is ideal for older students ages 7-13 and will be outdoors.
