Seeking the Immortal with Acrylic Paint
Nov. 5th, 12th, 19th, Dec. 3rd, 10th, and 17th
Wednesday’s 5:00-6:30 pm
Together we will explore the potential of this much maligned medium to express ourselves artistically. Starting with basic techniques, the goal will be for each of us to complete one painting that is super cool.
$200 for all 5 classes
Materials needed for each student; find a stretcher or board that is a size you want your painting to be. These can be purchased at Michaels, online, or made by yourself or your sister-in-law. If you can gesso or prime them before class, it will save time and we can get started painting right away. You will also need a basic set of acrylic paint. You can go as expensive or as cheap as you want. Same with brushes. I use the cheapest brushes I can find, or even foam brushes. If you are planning to do big splashy work, buy big brushes, if you are planning to do small detailed work, buy some small little brushes. Wear old clothes. Please feel free to email if you have questions.
Class will be held in Moscow Contemporary’s New Space!
Palouse Mall, 2012 W Pullman Rd, Moscow, ID
Enter through the parking lot entrance or enter through the Ross entrance.
